Product Photographer

We're looking for a photographer to shoot photos of our products to use in marketing materials such as our website, social media, email campaigns, and catalogs. While we may occasionally need product listing photos, we are mainly in need of lifestyle photos. This includes prop-styled shoots of our small gift products (greeting cards, stickers, keychains, etc) and modeled photos of accessories in use (we can source or be the models when needed).

We would love to work with our photographer on an ongoing basis––likely bigger shoots 2 times a year, in line with our product release schedule, and possibly some smaller shoots in between if needed.

Must-Haves:

• Portfolio showcasing product photography in our desired style or similar.
• Your own photography studio for shoots in San Francisco or East Bay.
• Experience working with small product-based brands.
• Good communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work well with and without art direction.
• Ability to source props and pitch creative ideas for shooting stationery and accessories.

Nice-to-haves:

• Ability to occasionally travel to our studio in the Mission, SF.
• Experience styling shoots specifically for stationery/paper goods.

Maison Chanamon is a small business operated by illustrator and designer Chanamon Ratanalert out of a small studio in San Francisco. We make a variety of stationery and accessories aimed at bringing silliness to life's ups and downs. We sell direct-to-consumer online and in-person and through 60+ wholesale retail partners across the US, from small independent boutiques to big retailers like Barnes & Noble/Paper Source.

We were named one of Stationery Trends magazine's Makers to Watch for 2026 and are scaling fast. We currently operate with one jack-of-all-trades owner and a couple part-time assistants. We are looking to build a team of friendly, compassionate people who connect with our mission to bring more joy into the world and help others feel less alone.
